Access to Apple Reminders

The app requests full access to Apple Reminders so you can read, create, edit, move and complete reminders. It accesses reminder titles, notes, dates, alarms, completion status, list names and identifiers, and the accounts that contain those lists.

These changes affect the same reminders available in Apple’s Reminders app. Task Studio may create status lists and update recognised default list names to match the app language. It does not maintain an independent cloud copy of your reminders.

Areas and workflow details

Area definitions, list connections, appearance choices, contact-method labels, follow-up defaults and additional workflow details are stored locally in the app. Waiting tasks may contain a person’s name and contact-method label that you enter manually. A description of who you are waiting for and how to contact them is also included in the reminder’s title.

Contact methods do not send messages or contact another person. Task Studio does not request access to your address book to fill in these fields.

Widgets and local caching

To display widgets, the app and its widget extension share a local snapshot containing task titles, notes, dates, workflow fields and area/list identifiers. The widget can read linked reminders with the Reminders permission. This cache stays in the app’s shared storage on your device; it is not sent to a developer-operated server.

Widget content can be visible on your Home Screen. Choose where you display a widget and which tasks it shows. iOS controls widget refresh timing, so a widget may temporarily show an older snapshot.

Sync, Siri and reminders

The account storing your reminder lists, such as iCloud, manages synchronisation according to that provider’s settings and privacy practices. Task Studio’s area and app settings remain local to each installation. They are not an app-operated sync service.

Siri creates reminders through Apple’s services. Task Studio can show those reminders when they become available in a linked list. Follow-up alarms are saved as reminder alarms and delivered by the operating system. Apple handles Siri and notification data under its own privacy policies.

Permissions, retention and deletion

You can revoke Reminders access in your device’s Settings. Removing access prevents further reads and changes through Apple Reminders, but is not a deletion of your existing reminders or every local cached item. Remove widgets if you no longer want their snapshots displayed.

To remove local Task Studio settings, workflow data and caches, delete the app using Delete App in Settings. Offloading can retain app data. Deleting Task Studio does not delete the reminders or lists stored in Apple Reminders or your reminder account. Delete those separately in Reminders and manage any backups through your device and account settings.

Support and privacy requests

If you email info@wolfisland.studio, your email address, message and attachments are used to respond and resolve the issue. Email providers process these messages to deliver and store them. Send only what is needed and remove private information from screenshots.

Support correspondence is retained for handling the request and necessary follow-up. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing us. Information may need to be retained where legally required.

This website

This website has no advertising, contact form or analytics added by WolfIsland Studio. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect it. Email links open your email app; no message is submitted through this site.
